- NEST New York Wonder ($130 for 100ml) is a limited-edition wearable version of the brand's best-selling seasonal home scent.
- Five of nine launches carry gourmand notes, including pistachio-caramel Bonbon d'Azur at $290 for 85ml.

Nine fragrance launches land this October, priced from $34 to $385, and the season's dominant register is warmth — chai spice, caramel, pistachio and oud. October is when fragrance wardrobes catch up with the weather, and this month's releases lean hard into depth over freshness.

What are the standout launches?
BORNTOSTANDOUT Saint Petal Eau de Parfum sits at the top of the price ladder at $320 for 50ml. The Korean house calls it a polished floral, but there is darker, edgy earthiness underneath. Perfumer Jordi Fernández loaded it with natural oud. The brand says the Extrait Extrême collection runs at a 55–62 percent fragrance concentration and ages for three months in traditional Korean onggi pottery. The note architecture runs deep:
- Top: orange blossom, cumin, bergamot, dust
- Mid: violet leaves, jasmine sambac, coffee, incense, Akigalawood
- Base: amyris, vetiver, cistus, oud, leather
Bvlgari Allegra Baciami Ancora Parfum costs $385 for 100ml and is the priciest bottle of the month. Master perfumer Jacques Cavallier built it around gardenia and vanilla. The brand positions it as a richer, more envelopping take on its signature floral-amber scent — for white-floral lovers who want a sweeter finish.
Which gourmand earns the money?
Commodity SPICE Eau de Parfum, at $160 for 100ml, is the season's most direct comfort play. The brand drew inspiration from the meditative ritual of brewing chai and layered suede-like saffron, aromatic allspice and sweet cinnamon sugar. Think chai latte, bottled. Saffron and allspice open, cinnamon sugar holds the middle, tonka bean closes.
Véronique Gabai Bonbon d'Azur Eau de Parfum ($290 for 85ml) works a unisex angle with neroli, pistachio, caramel, vanilla and woods. It lingers long on skin, per the brand's own description. Oscar de la Renta New York Rendezvous ($120) takes the dessert route too — Chantilly cream and citrus up top, white jasmine, hedione and almond flower at the heart, vanilla bean, caramelized woods and amber at the base. It opens dessert-like, then softens into warmth.
What about the affordable end?
OUAI St. Barts Solid Eau de Parfum costs $34 and is the cheapest entry by a wide margin. The limited-edition, Sephora-exclusive solid arrives tucked inside a ready-to-gift ornament — a stocking stuffer by design. Notes include dragon fruit, orange blossom, tuberose, Baltic amber and musk. The hair-care brand has shrunk its vacation-in-a-bottle scent to pocket size.
LoveShackFancy Just a Girl ($125 for 75ml) offers the month's best packaging trick. Once the metallic pink bottle, topped with a sculptural bow, runs empty, the spray top pops off and the bottle works as a bud vase. The juice itself: sugared apricot, French vanilla and tonka milk, sheer amber. Inspired by a first trip to Paris and a French patisserie stop.
Any surprises?
Juliette Has a Gun Purple Trouble ($150) pairs wild blackberry with red chili pepper in the heart. The result is playful but not overly sugary — a tart opening that gives way to ambroxan and musk on skin. Fruit plus chili is the month's most literal risk.
NEST New York Wonder Eau de Parfum ($130 for 100ml) is the early holiday play. The limited edition converts the brand's best-selling seasonal home scent into a wearable perfume, built on grapefruit, winter cranberry and fir balsam. It reads crisp rather than sweet, per the brand.
What does the mix signal?
Gourmands dominate — five of nine launches carry edible notes, and white florals carry most of the rest. Concentration is also climbing: BORNTOSTANDOUT's 55–62 percent extrait marks the high end, while solids at $34 mark the low. The spread suggests brands are hedging across both luxury connoisseurs and gift-buyers before the holiday quarter. Expect the gourmand push to continue through December.
