Sephora will donate $25 from every $42 Healthy Hair & Scalp Kit sold to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, with a guaranteed minimum gift of $350,000. That figure anchors a crowded field. Eleven beauty brands have launched pink limited editions for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, with pledges ranging from 10 percent of profits to 100 percent of net proceeds.
The generosity varies widely. So does the fine print. Some brands cap their commitments at October 31. Others extend into December. Buyers who want maximum impact per dollar should read each pledge before checkout.
Which brands guarantee a minimum donation?
Only two companies named a floor. SharkNinja launched the We Won't Wait Fund with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and guaranteed at least $250,000. It will donate 20 percent of the purchase price on select products, including the CryoGlow LED Face Mask ($350) and the Depuffi Contrast Therapy Device ($200).
Sephora set the higher floor at $350,000. Its inaugural Sephora Favorites Healthy Hair & Scalp Kit ($42) carries a stated $130 value and holds products from seven brands. Each sale sends $25 to breast cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
No other brand in the group disclosed a guaranteed minimum. That omission matters. Percentage pledges without floors can yield small sums if sales disappoint.
Who gives 100 percent of proceeds?
Two brands commit the full proceeds. LYS Beauty will donate 100 percent of net proceeds from its limited-edition Triple Fix Pressed Setting Powder in Sincere ($22), and the window runs long: October 1 through December 31.
Well People matches the 100 percent pledge for October only, on its best-selling Lush Lip Tinted Oil in Wildflower ($12). Recipient is Lipstick Angels, a nonprofit providing oncology-sensitive clean beauty and wellness services to people affected by cancer.
What drives the 20 and 25 percent pledges?
DERMAFLASH founder Dara Levy has personal stakes. She was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer in 2024. Her brand will donate 25 percent of net sales from every Pop Pink DERMAFLASH LUXE+ ($199) sold on its site to BCRF this month.
Four more brands landed at 20 percent:
- Drowsy: 20 percent of all Damask Rose colorway products, including the Silk Sleep Eye Mask ($85) and Padded Scrunchie ($39), to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, all October.
- Tammy Fender: 20 percent of online sales of the Quintessential Serum Special Edition ($285) to the Living Beauty Cancer Foundation, which runs wellness retreats, yoga, meditation, nutritional guidance and expert-led workshops for women living with cancer.
- SickScience: 20 percent of NetWork Rich Concentrated Serum ($74) sales during October to BCRF.
- La Bonne Brosse: a share of each Pink October brush sale funds BCRF research. The collection reimagines the N.01, N.02, N.03, N.04 and N.07 brushes in pink, in large and small sizes. The brand did not state the percentage.
What do the survivor-led brands offer?
Laura Geller, a breast cancer survivor, will give 50 percent of proceeds from the limited-edition Laura Geller x Fran Drescher 2026 Breast Cancer Awareness Collection ($80) to Drescher's Cancer Schmancer throughout October. The $80 kit contains Wonder Balm Hydrating Blush, Jelly Balm Hydrating Lip Color and Wonder Brush in pink packaging.
3 of Cups founder Lauren O'Connell, also a survivor, pledged the smallest share in the group: 10 percent of all profits from The Shower Mask ($49) to BCRF. Note the wording. Ten percent of profits is not ten percent of sales.
What should buyers watch?
The pledges differ in three ways: the base (purchase price, net sales, net proceeds, profits), the duration (October only versus year-end), and the disclosure of minimums. LYS Beauty's three-month window and Well People's full-proceeds pledge set the high bar. SharkNinja and Sephora offer the only verified floors.
The rest report percentages without published totals. October buyers can expect the pink editions to vanish on November 1, except the LYS powder, which funds research through the end of the year.
