The takeaway

  • Allure named 24 winners in its Best of Beauty 2026 clean category across skin care, makeup, body and hair care.
  • Clean body products form the largest category with seven winners, including Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter and Henry Rose Ripe Eau de Parfum.
  • Several 2026 winners are treatment hybrids, such as Ciele Cosmetics Conceal & Protect SPF 50 and Rizos Curls Heat Protection Multivitamin Leave-In.

Allure has crowned 24 products as winners of its Best of Beauty 2026 awards in the clean category. The editors framed the selection in blunt terms: "The 24 winners below are considered worthy by Allure of being called clean—and worthy of a hard-won spot in your beauty routine."

The winners span four categories: clean skin care, clean makeup, clean body products and clean hair care.

Best Clean Skin-Care

Six products made the cut. Innisfree took a slot with its Green Tea Ceramide Milk, pairing the brand's signature Jeju green tea with barrier-repair ceramides. AUNE landed a spot with the Mānuka Salve. Yepoda won for The Depuff Eyespresso, an eye product built on a caffeine premise. Honest secured recognition for its Hydrogel Cream.

Two more complete the skin-care list: Farmacy's Green Clean Cleansing Balm, a long-standing cult favorite for makeup removal, and Doctor Rogers Day Preventive Treatment, a SPF-adjacent daily protective product from the dermatologist-founded brand.

Best Clean Makeup

The makeup category drew six winners as well. Ciele Cosmetics won for Conceal & Protect SPF 50, one of several winners that fuse treatment benefits with color. Saie took a prize for CitySet Lightweight Setting Spray. Rye Beauty earned a slot with Tinted Brow Milk.

Nooni's Lip Oil and Merit's The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Stick round out the complexion and lip entries. 19/99 closed the category with its Liquid Pen Eyeliner — the sole eye-makeup winner in the clean lineup.

Best Clean Body Products

Body care is the largest single category this year, with seven winners. Josie Maran won for Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter. Henry Rose — the fragrance brand founded by actress Michelle Pfeiffer — took a slot with Ripe Eau de Parfum.

Oak Essentials earned recognition for Perfecting Body Scrub. Sidia won for The Body Mist in Braless. Herbivore's Coco Rose Deodorant and Each & Every's Day Dream Body Wash complete the list, giving natural deodorant and body wash each a place among the 2026 winners.

Best Clean Hair-Care

Five products won in hair. Ochre took a slot with Everything Hair Cream. Rizos Curls, a brand built for curly and textured hair, won for Heat Protection Multivitamin Leave-In. Divi earned recognition for its Dry Shampoo.

Rahua rounded out the shampoo aisle with its Aloe Vera Shampoo and Conditioner, counted as one winning entry. Bur Bur closed the category with Growing Season Deep Repair Hair Mask, the single mask among the hair winners.

What the list signals

The 2026 clean winners skew heavily toward treatment hybrids: an SPF concealer, a preventive day cream, a heat-protecting leave-in. Skin care and body care together account for 13 of the 24 spots, while eye makeup is represented by exactly two products — one liner, one brow milk. Brands with dermatological or founder-driven stories, such as Doctor Rogers and Henry Rose, sit alongside indie names like Yepoda and 19/99, indicating that Allure's clean standard rewards both clinical positioning and niche innovation.
