A Marie Claire beauty editor has filtered the sale down to ten discounted picks. "Since it is quite literally my job to parse through all the items on sale and curate only the best of the best products, I've created a ruthlessly precise list of recommendations that I think pretty much anyone will be able to enjoy," the editor writes.
What's discounted
The 111SKIN 8-Pack Celestial Black Diamond Eye Mask, was $120, tops her eye-patch category. The editor says the patches, which contain actual diamond powder in the Black Diamond line, deliver "instant, noticeable results." A Nordstrom reviewer confirms: "After 20 minutes, I take them off and really feel like my skin looks better. This is my 3rd time buying and totally worth it."
In serums, two standouts. Dr. Diamond's Metacine Instafacial Plasma Bioactive Growth Factor Serum, was $200, is built with human identical growth factors and suits post-treatment skin. La Mer The Concentrate Serum, was $225, pairs the brand's proprietary miracle broth with glycerin, Lime Tea concentrate and sesame seed oil to strengthen a compromised barrier. "The entire MC beauty team swears by this product, and we all have wildly different skin types," the editor notes.
For daily maintenance, Medicube Zero Pore Pads (was $21) combine AHAs and BHAs with hyaluronic acid and panthenol in 70 pre-soaked pads. A reviewer reported "smoother skin in 5 days" and praised the included tweezers for hygiene. Caudalie's Pore Minimizing Instant Detox Mask, was $42, blends kaolin and bentonite clay with caffeine, which the editor says reduces signs of fatigue while brightening and de-puffing.
Colorescience Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield Flex SPF 50, was $58, was "the first brand to get that color-shifting SPF formula right," according to the editor. One reviewer said Nordstrom undercuts Amazon on price: "The best part is that Nordstrom sells it for a few dollars less than Amazon, so I'll be buying it here from now on."
Complexion and fragrance
Yves Saint Laurent's Skin Affair Soft Glow Cushion Foundation, was $49, earns a dual nod as best concealer and best foundation. The editor praises its shade match, spill-proof cushion format and buildable medium-to-full coverage. A reviewer who missed La Mer's discontinued cushion calls it "my new favorite" and reports it "lasts ALL DAY" in hot, humid weather.
The fragrance picks sit at the top of the price range. Clive Christian E Cashmere Musk, was $430, won a 2026 Marie Claire Fragrance Award. Beauty Writer Ariel Baker calls it "creamy, musky, and skin-like while projecting like a beast—anyone within a five-foot radius will be able to pinpoint that it's you who smells that good with scary accuracy," citing notes of ginger, jasmine, cashmeran and multiple musks.
Frédéric Malle's Portrait of a Lady Parfum Spray, was $470, was composed by master perfumer Dominique Ropion with rose, benzoin, incense and sandalwood. One buyer calculated that the 1.7-ounce bottle "lasted a good 8.5 months" of near-daily use.

With the discount window closing September 23, the sale offers a rare entry point to the luxury tier—La Mer, Clive Christian and Frédéric Malle—at reduced prices.
