The takeaway

  • Pandora and Dame Pat McGrath launch a 17-piece jewelry capsule globally on Oct. 8, priced $58 to $250.
  • The line uses a red, purple, silver and gold palette with crystals, including lip-shaped signet rings with ombré enamel hearts and crystal-embellished lipstick charms.
  • McGrath is chief creative officer of her eponymous brand, founded in 2015, and Louis Vuitton's creative director of cosmetics since 2025.

Dame Pat McGrath, the British makeup artist behind the viral porcelain-doll faces at the 2024 Margiela show, has designed a 17-piece jewelry capsule for Pandora that launches globally on Oct. 8.

The collection, priced from $58 to $250, draws directly from McGrath's beauty universe. It plays on a palette of red, purple, silver and gold, with heavy use of crystals, Pandora announced.

"This collection is the result of two creative voices coming together around one powerful idea: color as a force for transformation," Pandora creative directors Francesco Terzo and A. Filippo Ficarelli said in a joint statement. The duo said they had "pushed materials to create surfaces rich in depth and emotion."

McGrath framed the partnership in broader terms. "Makeup and jewelry have always been the same art," she said. "I adorn the body with color, light, crystal, glitter and pure pigment. Jewelry is that same instinct made eternal. With Pandora, the two arts I have always loved became a single language."

What's in the Lineup

The capsule translates McGrath's studio staples into charms, rings and medallions. Lip-shaped signet rings and charms conceal ombré enamel hearts inside. Crystal-embellished lipstick and beauty-tube dangles reference her toolkit directly. Medallions carry etched empowerment mantras associated with the artist, whom the industry calls simply "Mother."

Pandora designed every piece for layering on chains, hoops and bracelets, with mixing across metals and bold tonal stacking built into the concept.

London-based Norwegian photographer Sølve Sundsbø shot the campaign. It features models Ava Shipp, Chiharu Okunugi, Ali Dansky and Alton Mason.

Why McGrath

McGrath ranks among the most influential figures on the fashion circuit. She pioneered signature looks including studded lips and gilded eyebrows before founding her eponymous makeup brand in 2015, where she remains chief creative officer. Since 2025 she has also served as Louis Vuitton's creative director of cosmetics, a position created when the French luxury house introduced the category.

The Pandora deal marks her first major move into jewelry. For the Danish mass-market giant, it adds a fashion-week authority to a collaboration roster that has leaned on boldface names to drive relevance and traffic. The color-as-transformation concept, carried across 17 pieces at accessible prices, gives Pandora a bridge between beauty consumers and its core charm-and-bracelet business when the capsule hits stores on Oct. 8.
