Warby Parker and Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty announced a limited-edition eyewear collection on Thursday, with five frames recolored to match shades of the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush.

Katseye member Megan Skiendiel, 20, fronts the campaign and models every frame-and-blush combination. The partnership marks her first solo campaign, capping a year in which the international girl group, formed and risen to fame in 2024, has stacked ambassadorships.

Which shades made the cut?

Each frame takes its colorway from a specific Soft Pinch Liquid Blush shade:

  • Franny — warm chestnut Resilience
  • Elwell — soft neutral pink Encourage
  • Millie — true rose Worth
  • Gillian — nude mauve Hope
  • Albie — deep berry Faith

The brands designed each frame and blush to complement the other, positioning eyewear and makeup as one coordinated look rather than separate purchases.

What do the executives say?

Kim Nemser, Warby Parker's Chief Merchandising and Product Strategy Officer, framed the logic of pairing two categories that rarely share a shelf. "We loved the idea of bringing together two different worlds of personal style — eyewear and beauty — in a way that feels both unexpected and intuitive," Nemser said in a statement to WWD. "Rare Beauty's Soft Pinch Liquid Blush has such a recognizable color palette, and translating those shades into five of our frames gave us an opportunity to create something really special. Megan brings the spirit of the collection to life, and we're excited to see how people make it their own."

Rare Beauty approached the deal from its community-first playbook. Chrystina Woody Train, SVP of Global Brand Partnerships at Rare Beauty, said: "As with all collaborations, we start with our community. Nearly two years in the making, the limited-edition Rare Beauty Warby Parker optical and sunglasses collection brings together signature Warby Parker eyewear shapes, stunning colorways inspired by Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, fun creative, support of the Rare Impact Fund and the talent of Megan Skiendiel; all of which create a moment in time and culture specifically designed for our communities."

The two-year development timeline signals a considered brand play, not a quick licensing tie-in. Both companies decline to treat the product as merchandise alone.

Why Megan Skiendiel?

The brands tapped Skiendiel for her "expressive, color-forward style," per the official statement. She "embodies the collection's spirit of individuality and the idea that eyewear and makeup can work together as one considered look."

Katseye's commercial track record supports the choice. Since 2024 the group has fronted GAP's "Better in Denim" campaign, skin care brand Laneige and Pandora jewelry. It has performed at Coachella and the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

What does this change for Rare Beauty's momentum?

The Warby Parker deal extends a rapid sequence of brand moves. Rare Beauty named "Off Campus" star Ella Bright its first ambassador in July, released a capsule collection with Shay Mitchell's Béis in October and reunited Gomez with Demi Lovato for a nostalgic collaboration later that month.

The eyewear deal also carries the brand's social mission. Warby Parker made a donation to the Rare Impact Fund (the brand's initiative expanding access to youth mental health services and education globally) as part of the partnership.

Expect the color-matching logic to travel. If blush shades can sell frames, other makeup franchises with recognizable palettes — glosses, bronzers, lip oils — now have a template for category-crossing partnerships of their own.
