Cardi B made a surprise runway appearance at Vogue World Milano in a colorful Vogue-themed Versace dress and bright, super-sparkly magenta eye makeup to match, as reported by Allure.
Her makeup artist, Erika La' Pearl, matched the vibes of the bold gown with a glitter eye in a purply-pink color that complemented the dress's vivid hues. The color saturated Cardi's lids and ended just above the crease in a sculpted but subtle winged-out shape. A dusting of pale pink shadow sat just above it.
The look fits what Allure calls an "Event-with-a-capital-E": saturated color plus heavy glitter built to stand out—or sparkle—in a crowd.
It also breaks a party-makeup convention. Gold and silver glitter shadows dominate the holiday season. Magenta, Allure notes, is "the definition of unexpected."
Cardi finished the look with hip-length black fluffed-out curls and a bright manicure in cobalt blue with a hint of purple—again echoing the colors across the gown.
